Our Business
EMC Gold is the 100% owner of one of Europe’s largest undeveloped gold deposits situated in a renowned mining province with an existing road and port infrastructure. The project demonstrates strong economics in a low-cost operating jurisdiction in addition to record commodity prices.
The Board and management team aim to maximise returns and ensure the long-term success of the Salave gold project by leveraging their industry knowledge and technical skills. Central to their approach is the commitment to generating value for shareholders.

Governance
EMC Gold considers good corporate compliance an important factor in the long-term success of the Company. This enables effective management and ensures the protection of its stakeholders.
As an ASX listed corporation, the Company is subject to the rules and policies of the Exchange. Corporate governance is the set of processes, policies, laws and institutions affecting the way a corporation is directed, administered or controlled.
Management of the Company is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the business while the Board of Directors supervises the significant business and associated affairs. The Company is currently not of a size that allows for the formation of a nomination or compensation committee but does have in place an audit committee.
The audit committee, made up of Paul Cronin, Alberto Lavandeira and Gabriel Chiappini, is designed to oversee the financial reporting and disclosure process. The members monitor accounting policies and principles as well as oversee the hiring, performance and independence of the external auditors. They are also responsible for the oversight of regulatory compliance, ethics, and whistleblower hotlines.
The Board of Directors of EMC Gold are responsible for establishing the corporate governance framework of the group having regard to the ASX Corporate Governance Council published guidelines.
