Alberto Lavandeira

Mr Lavandeira has over 38 years’ experience operating and developing mining projects. Former Chief Executive Officer, President and COO of Rio Narcea Gold Mines (1995-2007), which built three mines including Aguablanca. He was also Director of Samref Overseas S.A (2007-2014) involved in the development of the Mutanda Copper-Cobalt Mine in the DRC. Mr. Lavandeira is also CEO & MD of Atalaya Mining, owner of the Rio Tinto copper project near Seville, Spain.
